Our Work Together
We will work together to introduce into your life the right practices and processes to target the feelings, fears and worries that reside within. My background is in education; I have delivered mindfulness coaching and solution focused therapy to young people, and regularly incorporate techniques harnessed in those areas into my counselling sessions. I am a firm believer in the ongoing pursuit of discovering positive and mentally-healing practices that can benefit us all as human beings. Throughout our time together we will talk openly and confidentially about the challenges that have led you to seek counselling, and we will work at a pace that fits naturally around you. Our sessions will be entirely confidential, mutually respectful, and entirely with you in mind.
I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your counselling journey.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapy (MBACP). This means that I adhere to professional codes of conduct and ethical frameworks, working diligently within their ethical guidelines and follow best practices at all times.

My Approach
As an integrative therapist I believe there isn’t just one therapeutic approach that can help a client in all situations. Instead, I take into account you as an individual and your circumstances, and use elements of different approaches to help you explore and cope with your problems.
My integrative approach includes elements of person-centred therapy. This focuses on you rather than the therapist being the expert, and aims to help you reach your full potential.
Therapy provides a journey of self-discovery and increased self-awareness. First it’s about awareness, then acceptance and then change. It will help you to make healthier and better choices for yourself.
Integrative therapy can help with a range of short and long-term issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, addictions, bereavement and low self-esteem. Enabling people to live life to their full potential.
